
project background Bleary early morning on the second day of the W3C conference. While attempting to reach across a fellow attendee’s own reaching arm, and I say, “Pardon my arm, I’m just trying to grab a lid.”
His response: “A lid? What’s that? I’m so foggy I don’t even know anymore.”
My response, words just leaping from my brain unmediated: “Oh! A lid is the closing tag for a coffee cup. Obviously.”
