The first time I saw ads touting cell phone service on the MBTA, I was horrified. It was the first time in my life I had ever been overwhelmingly seized by a graffitti-impulse: I wanted to pull out a black marker and deface that sign.

October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month; this benefit show will not be an outpouring of grief. The Spence, Cann, and Powers families are immensely grateful for the support and love that they have received from the community in the weeks following this tragedy.
My final project (online portfolio), which I have been raving about, is actually online. Fancy that! It only exists on a Harvard University server which will be wiped clean at the end of the semester (approximately the end of May).

It’s only four or five weeks into the semester, but my ‘Writing for Marketing and Public Relations’ class is already affecting the way I read.For example, only because of this class, I was curious enough to open and read a fundraising letter from my undergraduate college. It was excruciatingly well written (with the exception of the phrase “behooves us.” Nothing behooves in fundraising. It “is essential that we.”)
