- Keep Calm and Carry On poster. Typographically and visually stunning, these were designed by the British Ministry of Information in 1939, to be distributed in the event of a German invasion on English soil. Only 50 were printed, and they were never hung. I love the message, and believe everyone should live by it.

- Jewish Rosaries by Carlen Altman. My Catholic and Jewish grandmothers would be so proud! I love this idea, and am a little jealous I didn’t come up with it first.

- CSS is Awesome mug. Why yes, yes it is. Cute little block-level element pun? BONUS!!

- Coilhouse Magazine subscription. I love everything about this. I adore so many people who contribute to and are featured in it. Their blog is a hoot. Plus, they manage to put out such a breathtakingly high-quality publication in every way from paperstock to printing to journalism to art, and they’re so low-budget that any issue could be their last, so I love the idea of supporting them.

- Anything argyle. Socks, cardigans, sweatervests; doesn’t matter. Like Margaret Atwood, I love playing with the classics. (I also own about four variations on wing-tips, from platforms to mary janes to pointy-toed kitten heels!)
- Back to cardigans, isn’t this sequin peekaboo cardigan from j.crew just to die for? I’ve had my eye on it for months, waiting for a sale. Then, Mrs. O had to go and wear it, and they’re out of stock almost everywhere.

- A girl can never have too many sheer v-neck sweaters. I have them in yellow, deep blue-green, purple, bright green, and brown, and live in these year round. My brown one’s totally falling apart, though.

- A pastry blender and pastry brush. I’ve needed a pastry brush twice in the last week in my baking exploits!

- Earmuffs. I know: silly, right? But my ears get so very cold! I’ve long liked the weird fleece kind that go around the back of your head, but fleece and me are too disingenuous: I mean, I’m neither sporty nor outdoorsy. But then I found these, by a company called 180s, and they are cable-knit, and they come in black, so I kind of really want them.

- And, of course, accessories. I’m in love with a lot of the over-the-top chunky bracelets and necklaces out this season. I’m also loving superlong thin interestingly worked chain-necklaces that I can wear over sweaters. I only own one 30″+ necklace, and wear it constantly! Here are some pretties for inspiration:
