I’m pretty sure I’ll never like (or have any desire to watch) any movie branded with the handwritten building-block font.
By which I mean: Juno, Nick & Norah, Away We Go, etc.
In terms of dull ubiquity, it’s the (wannabe)indie-(wannabe)cool version of Papyrus.
It’s the typographical equivalent of the MPDG. (And you should really really follow that link; well worth it: “their studied eccentricity renders them entirely docile”).
By which I mean, it’s the typographical equivalent of explaining to someone, apropos of nothing relevant, that you are quirky. Which translates to: you are an uninteresting poseur.
Or your graphic design team is composed of such, in any case.
