I did a lot of housecleaning this week. This morning, I had the following conversation with my boy.
Me: I see these giant spiderwebs all over the house, but I’ve never seen a single spider. It’s so weird.
Boy: [offhandedly] I’ve seen spiders.
Me: [ick and revulsion flashing across my face] Really?
Boy: Yeah. That’s why you’ve never seen any.
Me: Awwwww!
