My don’t-miss-them-on-the-big-screen recommendations in bold.
This is an amazing venue: a gorgeous outdoor patio right on the water with outdoor dining and plenty of additional seating, a broad staircase leading down, popcorn and ice-cream vendors (for quick supply-runs during intermission!), and a full-sized movie screen 30 feet out over the ocean. BYO snacks and drinks, or buy them there. Best of all: it’s completely free! Movies start at dusk.
(They don’t pay me for this; it’s just a fabulous cheap summer Friday night outing, and I’m a huge softie for old movies.)

The BHH has an amazing restaurant, Meritage. Great wine list. Eat at meritage and watch the movie from their restaurant. That’s what I do.

That sounds like an utterly brilliant evening. Those outdoor service tables seem like the best seats in the house.
